Training: The Art of Managing – from Goal-Setting to Effective Results for the Clearing House Consultants

A training seminar for consultants of the Clearing House programme "The Art of Managing – from Goal-Setting to Effective Results" was conducted from June 30 to July 1, 2015 in Minsk. Participants of the event examined methods of increasing effectiveness of providing consultation services from the idea of a project to its implementation in Belarus with international technical assistance.

Consultants of the Clearing House programme studied new approaches to managing of project activity results and providing support to customer organizations who apply for consultation assistance when preparing project applications for international calls for proposals.
Participants of the meeting were introduced to peculiarities of result-oriented management of Belarusian organizations and studied personal report management, cooperation in the provision of consultation services and ways to improve the quality of consulting.

Only last year the Clearing House programme provided more than 120 Belarusian organizations with free consultation services on developing project ideas, preparing and processing applications for international calls for proposals. On average, about 150 Belarusian non-commercial organizations receive consultations from the Clearing House on providing international technical aid in Belarus and preparing project proposals for international calls for proposals. The programme provides free consultation aid both to non-governmental and government organizations.
The Clearing House programme has been operating since 2011 and is aimed at building the capacity of non-commercial organizations in Belarus. The programme is implemented by ODB Brussels in partnership with the Office for European Expertise and Communication.
