On 27 May, at 11.30-13.00 (CEST) a panel discussion: “Social Economy in the Eastern Partnership Countries – Policy Challenges and Cooperation Potentials” will take place as a part of the of the ‘European Social Economy Summit’ #EUSES, jointly organised by the European Commission and the City of Mannheim.

The European Institute of Peace is looking for exceptional individuals who share our vision for a world where people live in safety and peace because conflicts and grievances are resolved through inclusive dialogue and lasting political agreements.

The European Endowment for Democracy (EED) is seeking candidates who have an interest in and clear understanding of the work and dynamics of civil society and good knowledge of the region’s political context. Proficiency in Russian language required, in addition to English. Knowledge of other languages from this region would be an asset. Citizenship of an EU Member State or residency in the European Union is preferred, but not mandatory. The expected level of monthly remuneration is around €1,450 net per month, in addition to meal vouchers and the reimbursement of a monthly subscription to Brussels public transport. Work place: EED Secretariat, located in the centre of Brussels, Belgium. The application deadline is Sunday, 5 July 2020 at midnight Brussels time.

On October 24, 2016 Emerging Europe and the EBRD co-hosted the EBRD Emerging Europe Outlook on Belarus conference in London.

On November 30, 2016 they will put the spotlight exclusively on the IT outsourcing industry. In 2016 the European Outsourcing Association shortlisted Belarus, alongside three other countries, as "Outsourcing Destination of the Year". In partnership with the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) they are hosting a networking seminar to bring together leading Belarusian IT companies, industry experts and decision makers and influencers from buyers of sourcing services.

The Secretariat of the Steering Committee of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) is accepting applications for an internship. The Intern will assist the team of the Secretariat mainly in administrative tasks. Duration: 6 months.

Main responsibilities: general assistance in administrative tasks, support of the advocacy activities of the Secretariat, support the organisation of EaP CSF internal and external events and meetings, press monitoring of developments on the Eastern Partnership in the Partner countries and Brussels, working on the EaP CSF membership database and mailing lists, liaising with members of the Forum and contacts in Brussels and EaP countries, participation in events related to the Eastern Partnership in Brussels.

UNICEF Office in Belarus is looking for an International Individual Consultant to Work with a Team of National Consultants/ Institution on Patronage (home visiting) system assessment with equity analysis.

Qualification or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required: PhD or equivalent in public health, economics, management, public administration with a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the relevant field; proven experience in providing consultancy services in relevant public health areas, such as health services management, health care evaluation, social work at primary healthcare level; etc.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Emerging Europe are co-hosting the EBRD-Emerging Europe: Outlook on Belarus 2016 event at the EBRD Headquarters in London on Monday 24 October, 2016.

The event will bring together policymakers, investors and prominent business people to discuss the economic outlook on Belarus and explore investment opportunities in the country.
