Contact-Making and Partnership Building Activities on Social Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship

Contact-Making and Partnership Building Activities in Minsk and Brest will bring potential partners from EU, EaP and Belarusian CSOs together for future cooperation opportunities and adoption of best practices related to the themes Social Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship.

  Why?

 One of the ways to introduce best practices, standards and innovations into the work of CSOs is through peer-learning, i.e cooperating closely with organisations with relevant experience. Therefore it is crucial to establish more contacts and partnerships between Belarusian and EU/EaP CSOs with relevant expertise and experience.

 At the same time, there is however the lack of opportunities for Belarusian CSOs to meet new potential international partners and develop future joint projects.

 Social Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship are key priorities of National Social Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Belarus until 2020 and indicative Country Strategy Paper (CSP) on Belarus for 2014-2017.

  What?

 Contact-Making and Partnership Building Activities is an opportunity for those involved in the field of social inclusion and social entrepreneurship to exchange ideas, good practices, establish contacts and develop future joint projects between Belarusian CSOs in the regions of Belarus with those from the EU and other EaP countries to be further submitted for the European calls for proposals.

  How?

 Participants will:
- Meet representatives and persons from CSOs and other institutions working in the field of social inclusion and social entrepreneurship;
- Present and learn about good practices and innovations in the field of social inclusion and social entrepreneurship;

- Explore ways of cooperating and working together on projects tackling social inclusion and social entrepreneurship.

  Where and when?

 Activities will take place in Minsk on September 11 and in Brest on September 12, 2014.

  Who can participate?

 EU and EaP CSOs working in the field of social inclusion and social entrepreneurship and willing to find new partners and develop joint projects with Belarusian CSOs.
