United Nations opens rare low-experience professional vacancies (Geneva)

This is a clear opportunity for recently graduated professionals to start an international career in United Nations.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Office at Geneva recently opened rare P-1 level vacancies, for professionals who are willing to work in Switzerland. The Professional category in UN system ranges from P1 (lowest) to P5 (highest), in terms of experience and payment. Vacancies are in Geneva, Switzerland, and initial payment is around 85,000 USD/year (gross salary).

The P-1 is one of the U.N. entry levels, and it is the one that requires the minimum amount of experience: 1 year. As these positions are internationally recruited, they don't require you to bear a working/residence permit in the country you are applying to. This is different, for example, for the G positions (General Staff), that are always locally recruited.
