The Young Strategists Forum (Tokyo, Japan)

The Young Strategists Forum is an initiative of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) that seeks to develop a new generation of strategic thinkers for an age of constrained resources and mounting international challenges.

The 5th Young Strategists Forum, in partnership with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, will convene from January 29-February 3, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.

This call for applications is open to emerging leaders - academics, journalists, policymakers, business professionals, and military officers - between the ages of 25 and 40, from the United States, Europe, Japan, and other likeminded countries in the Asia-Pacific.

To give participants a new platform for voicing their perspectives on key military, political, and economic issues, GMF will publish a Young Strategists Paper Series after the Forum.

The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) will accept applications on a rolling basis but no later than November 6, 2015. For more information, please, click here.
