The Center for Institutional Analysis and Development - Eleutheria, The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, The Wilfried Martens Center for European Studies, The Institute for Economic Studies Europe and The Society for Individual Freedom are receiving applications for The September School of Economics, Politics and Philosophy, scheduled for September 23 - 28, 2014 in Brasov, Romania.

International Student Festival in Trondheim, Norway, on 5-15 February 2015, has a vast cultural program consisting of concerts, plenary sessions, art exhibitions, performing arts and ceremonies. The culture program offers an extensive range of events for the visiting participants.

The 6th South Caucasus Regional English Language Teaching Conference in Tskaltubo, Georgia,  on October 3-4, 2014, is organized in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Kyiv Regional English Language Office, U.S. Embassies Baku, Yerevan, Minsk and Chisinau.

SKOPJE CREATIVE HUB is a 10 day long creative festival which focuses on developing interventions that promote alternative use of public space. SKOPJE CREATIVE HUB has paired international and local young creative professionals to run workshops together with groups of students. The invited thinkers, activists and theorists will provide a critical discourse on city space through а series of public discussions. The festival is intended to grow into a network of creative professionals, a reservoir of fresh ideas on urbanity, with a shared knowledge database.
 

Contact-Making and Partnership Building Activities in Minsk and Brest will bring potential partners from EU, EaP and Belarusian CSOs together for future cooperation opportunities and adoption of best practices related to the themes Social Inclusion and Social Entrepreneurship.

  Why?

 One of the ways to introduce best practices, standards and innovations into the work of CSOs is through peer-learning, i.e cooperating closely with organisations with relevant experience. Therefore it is crucial to establish more contacts and partnerships between Belarusian and EU/EaP CSOs with relevant expertise and experience.

Global Forum on Youth Policies seeks to bring together around 700 participants in Baku, Azerbaijan, 28-30 October 2014. This Forum is open for youth policy practitioners, youth activists and representatives of youth-led organisations working on youth policy. Global Forum on Youth Policies unites policymakers, civil society organisations, experts, academia, youth advocates, parliamentarians and UN agencies. 200 youth policy practitioners will be selected based on the open call.

Chatham House, in partnership with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, hosts fellows from among the countries of the Eastern Partnership and Russia. The fellowship is intended to provide an opportunity for the next generation of scholars from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine to advance their knowledge of post-Soviet politics, develop research skills.

The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for the advancement of science in developing countries and Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology are inviting applications for the TWAS-IROST postdoctoral fellowship programme. Fellowships are available for young scientists from developing countries who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in natural sciences at the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST) in Iran.

Faculty of Arts and Social Scienses of Lancaster University invites applications for CeMoRe Visiting Fellowship 2014-2015. Lancaster University is looking to fund up to two fellowships, one to be held before February 2015, the second between April and June 2015. Exact dates for visits are negotiable.
