The Antall József Knowledge Centre (AJKC) in cooperation with the Hungarian Mission to the UN in New York is organizing the SUSCO Budapest 2014 international conference on sustainable development (SD) on 2-3 October 2014 in Budapest, Hungary.

The Akademie Schloss Solitude, located in Stuttgart, offers a residency program  2014 for international artists. The Akademie Schloss Solitude is a public-law foundation. More than 1.200 artists from around 100 countries have developed and advanced projects at the Akademie since its opening in 1990, creating a close-knit, global network of Solitude alumni that expands from year to year.

New Faces organisation seeks in Minsk volunteers (one group leader (no age limit) and four participants (18-25 years old) for Youth Exchange. Under the motto “Creative Youth Goes International” creative and artistic young people interested in coming together from three neighboring partner countries in Eastern Europe and from 3 EU countries to act collectively in workshops and creative exchange (September 15-25 2014).

Hokkaido University announces the thirty-seventh round of the Slavic-Eurasian Research Center’s Foreign Visitors Fellowship Program for 2015-2016.  Foreign specialists in studies of the former Soviet and East European countries, who are interested in spending several months at the SRC during the academic year (June to March), may submit applications for this program.

World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is holding a photo competition for the 2015 WMO calendar and 2015 World Meteorological Day. The theme is Climate Knowledge for Climate Action. Winning entries will feature in the WMO calendar and be showcased on WMO’s website and Flickr gallery, and be displayed at 2015 World Meteorological Day celebrations.

The Swedish Institute announces the possibility for young professionals to apply for participation in a new training programme arranged during 2014 in cooperation between SI and Lund University. The topic is Increased Transparency through Governance and Control in Governmental Institutions.

From the 18th to the 21st of September, 2014, Integration of Azerbaijani Youth to Europe Organization (AGAT), with the support of the Azerbaijani Youth Foundation, will be organizing the "International Peace Youth Forum" in Baku, Azerbaijan.

 

 

 

  The WZB Berlin Social Science Center in cooperation with The International Social Science Council  is seeking applications for their Global Fellowship Programme. The aim of the programme is to build a new generation of outstanding social scientists in developing countries who are willing and able to solve current global problems.
