Co-organised by JEF Europe and JEF France, the International Seminar “Europe 2.0 – Now!” will take place in Strasbourg from 11th to 15th November 2015. The seminar will mainly consist of workshops followed by a public event in which participants to the previous activities will get the opportunity to discuss the results of the work plan with relevant European stakeholders. The publication “Europe 2.0: European Democracy Upgraded” will collect the proposals made by young people and youth organization for an updated and upgraded democracy in Europe, and present them to policymakers.

The World Bank Group Youth Summit 2015 invites young people from around the world to use their knowledge and creativity to crowd-source solutions for climate change that contribute to growth and development in developing and emerging countries. The Youth Summit will be held on 16-17 November 2015 in IFC Auditorium, Washington, DC.

The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) is organizing a new course focused on crimes against the environment. The course, which will be held at the United Nations Campus in Turin on 21-22 January 2016, is tailored to journalists and chief information officers, as well as those who want to specialize in this area.

The global objective of the call is to contribute, through supporting civil society organisations, to the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms and to contribute to the strengthening of the international framework for the promotion and protection of human rights, justice and the Rule of Law. Deadline for applications - 1 October 2015.
