The Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs is pleased to invite applications for two Academy Robert Bosch Fellowships, each for a nine-month period. The Academy Robert Bosch Fellowships provide an opportunity for the next generation of leaders and opinion-formers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine to advance their knowledge of post-Soviet politics, develop research skills, contribute to Chatham House research and build links with policy and academic communities in the UK, Germany and the EU more broadly.

Exploring the impact of six years of the YiA programme with Neighbouring Partner Countries

The three  SALTO Resource Centres working with the neighbouring regions of the Youth in Action programme - SALTO EECA, EuroMed and SEE - together with the National Agencies of France, Poland and Slovenia are organising a forum to explore the impact of the Programme in the frame of the cooperation with the neighbouring regions.

On 13-19 September Foundation for the Support of Alternative and Ecological Cultures (Poland) will organise a seminar to support personal/professional development of participants, by improving their mentor /couch competences, discovering own strengths and gaps.  Deadline for submissions: 26 August.

Humanitarian organisations need more well-trained people to carry out practical action helping communities affected by disaster. The EU Aid Volunteers initiative enables Europeans to contribute to humanitarian assistance in countries where help is needed. The EU Aid Volunteers initiative provides opportunities for volunteers to engage in humanitarian aid. In the period from 2015 to 2020, 18 400 individuals will be able to participate in the initiative, including 4 000 who will be deployed by humanitarian organisations to projects worldwide. This initiative is open to a variety of profiles, from newcomers to experienced humanitarian experts.

High number of IDP (Internally displaced people) in the region of Caucasus as well as Ukraine nowadays, shows urgency of answering the issue of reintegration through innovative ways. Nowadays besides conflicts between states, we face conflicts among communities, or even inside communities, especially those affected by conflicts themselves.

Applications are invited for DAAD scholarships from developing countries' students. The scholarships are available for pursuing a postgraduate degree at German institutions of Higher education. These scholarships provide monthly installment of EUR 750 and also include the costs for health, accident and liability insurance in Germany and an adequate travelling allowance.

The general deadline for application is October 15 or December 2015 (it varies depending on the course/university).
