On February 27, 2015 EU Delegation to Belarus organized a working meeting dedicated to increasing effectiveness of communication. Participants of the meeting discussed issues of dissemination of information about running EU supported projects in Belarus.

During the working meeting Audronė Urbonavičiūtė (center), Deputy Head of the Operations Section at the EU Delegation to Belarus, noted that the European Union is a major donor globally that spends a lot of money on implementation of various projects, some of them within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). As for the European projects in Belarus that are being implemented by civil society organisations and by the government in cooperation with EU partners, participants of the meeting agreed that it is necessary to increase the visibility of project results, raise their profiles in local media and in communities, as well as take significant steps to raise awareness of European taxpayers about their influence and the impact they have in Belarus.
