Information Day on European Opportunities and Sectoral Discussion on Gender Equality
Who can participate?
Belarusian non-profit organisations implementing international projects and programmes and their partners from different sectors
Why to participate?
CSOs' activists will learn step-by-step how to prepare successful projects, get to know about available EU support mechanisms and EU programming in Belarus, discover the commonly made mistakes during the project preparation and its future implementation. In the second session the participants will focus on incorporation of European values and cross-cutting issues (gender) in their project proposals and during project implementation. CSOs from different sectors will be given an opportunity to jointly discuss how they see cross-cutting issues reflected in their specific projects, how they address them during project implementation cycle, and how to ensure that more joint and cross-sectoral projects are initiated.
By the end of the training participants will receive:
- a list of indicators to check if a project is gender sensitive or gender blind;
- recommendations and tips how to increase sustainability of project results while planning it.
