Social Entrepreneurship in Belarus and the World: Seminar in Minsk
November 16, 2016 Minsk will host a seminar "Social Entrepreneurship in Belarus and the World" within the framework of Global Entrepreneurship Week in Belarus.
Who's invited: active entrepreneurs and businessmen, students majoring in economics-related fields, aspiring entrepreneurs.
The seminar will introduce you to Belarusian and international social entrepreneurs and volunteering projects, as well as to ways how you can join their work (learn about opportunities for internships, offer your support as a volunteer, etc.). Products of social enterprises will also be presented.
Speakers:
![]() | Gerd Junne (Netherlands), is the Chairman of the Board of e-learning of the Network University (TNU), who worked at the University of Amsterdam and at New York University (NYU), lead research projects for the UN, FAO, ILO, the European Union, the VW Foundation, the Rathenau Institute, the German Parliament, and various Dutch ministries. He is an expert in Life Long Learning and introduced many innovative educational programmes. His present involvement in the online entrepreneurship training and coaching programe grew out of his concern for the massive youth unemployment in many countries. He will present main trends in social entrepreneurship development in the Netherlands and internationally. |
Hanna Charakova (Netherlands), social entrepreneur, co-founder of Bin Bang, Creative Director at Crowd Effect, co-founder and trainer of the Waste Away Challenge school (educational programmes on entrepreneurship and recycling). She will tell the story of how she created her social enterprises in the Netherlands. | |

Organizers: ODB Brussels (Belgium), Support Programme of Belarus of the Federal Government of Germany. The seminar is organized within the framework of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Belarus, a global event for innovators and employers who create startups and implement project that lead to economic growth and improve welfare.
The event will take place from 09.00 to 14.30.
