The Training “Planning the Programme Activity of Non-profit Organizations on the Basis of the Community Needs Assessment Technology”

The training will be held on 18-19 October, 2014 in Minsk. The experience gained at the course may be used by organizations in their daily activities and well as in the project development process. Preparation of project proposals is a time consuming exercise: to make sure that your project is relevant and its implementation will bring real change to your target groups and final beneficiaries, you need to make sure that the project proposal corresponds to the actual needs of the mentioned groups. The two-day training will give you an opportunity to learn more about the “Community needs assessment” technology, and, in particular, how to reveal the needs and interests of target groups, local communities etc. In the process of “Community needs assessment” the members together detect the local problems, analyze them, define the priorities, and in such a way jointly find the optimal solution.

 

Thanks to the practical orientation of the training course, you will be able to use the received knowledge not only for direct work on the level of the community where your organization is active, but as well for the preparation of concept notes and project proposals for EU calls for proposals. The nearest of them will be announced before the end of 2014.

 

Upon participation in the training the participants will have an opportunity to be assisted in the process of the target groups needs assessment by means of free consultations available through the Clearing House programme.
